Sk(ar)y News! WTF?

I have just been watching Sk(ar)y news and what is going on?
On most of the reports broadcast, you could not make a snowball from the depth of the snow shown.
There are also 1000's of schools closed because of the weather. What is going on?
Methinks that HSE is in full swing as usual.
As you can see from my Scottish town address, I am used to such weather but I cannot believe that such panic is broadcast.
Some of my farmer friends have been out as usual at this time of year, fitting the newborn lambs jackets made from plastic bags tied round their backs. I have been out helping in previous years on a very important task.
I have had my sceptics (UK spelt)) on this forum previously when the temperature dropped to -22c and 3ft of snow here in Aviemore a couple of years ago.
Just get on with it!!

Have you seen the news about Sellafield. Staff evacuated and orderly shut down carried out. Something to do with the weather.  :o

Call me pragmatic (Andy B) but is this being played down a bit. What has actually gone on. There wasn't much of a problem at Fukashima to start with  :o :o
