that's just made me think of something.....

at the front both inner pads that attach to the calipers have tat 4 pronged clip thingy...... BOTH outer pads don't. but it says in the Haynes that there should be a clip on the outer ones too.

could this be the reason for the grinding i wonder?

soz to keep on about this stooped ford  ::)

my impact wrench has a torque of 450nm. does that mean it will undo any bolt/nut that's done up to that torque? the axle nuts on the rear are done up to 235nm so i'm hoping this will be childs play for my gun but just want to check  :y

it zaps the wheel bolts off done to 110 with no drama at all  :y
