too young to die :(   I liked him in that mafia role.. and watched him for a long period..
 
he was overweight and obviously had health problems :-\

Just seen the item on TV news. He always was a big bloke but he was much bigger than I remembered.

I wonder if they will rerun the Sopranos. Great series!

Still didn't reconise him, looked it up, had a few bit parts in a couple of films I'd seen.

Seems if you were a supranos viewer, you probably dont really know him.

A great shame really .
He never really had much success other than as TS but that was really down to the time he was playing that part.
Once he had shaken off the typecast problems that The Sopranos inevitably brought he would , I believe , have shown how good an actor he actually was.
In the 86 episodes of the Sopranos he was 100% believable as the complex guy he played , nine years and he was still as great in the finale . Next time you watch an episode carefully watch the expressions , body language and ability to do little or nothing but still carry the scene ....
He was a very good actor. RIP.
