Computer idiot
« on: 07 August 2013, 21:53:41 »

Well ok an all round idiot not just when it comes to computers, but try as I may I just cannot get my head round how to get pics into the gallery.I've read and re-read the instructions for photo bucket and drop box but the more I read them the more confused I get.I can take reasonable photos with one of these new fangled digital cameras,I can upload/download/offload or whatever it is you do these photos onto the computer,I've even learned how to attach them to an e-mail and send that[although I'm limited at present to one photo per e-mail as I've not yet sussed how to attach more than one photo to a message!]So it looks like I'll have to give the gallery part a miss.

I feel that I've made the instructions as "tech speak" free as possible.  :-\

You upload them to a source like photo bucket, just like in basic way attaching them to an email. You then have to get the URL to them, which you link to for here.

As a few struggle with this, I wonder if a desktop sharing session on Skype would help? I could do a walk through session explaining how it works. It's dead easy, bet you would all kick yourself afterwards!

Apologies tunnie,I was blaming no one but myself on this issue.I'm sure you've made the instructions as simple as can be,as said I'm just a complete thicko and very easily confused when it comes to technology.

First off, have you up-loaded your photo's to the likes of Photobucket/Photobox? If not, you'll never manage to post a picture here.  ;)

I will have to look deeper into this when we get sorted after the house move.I don't like being beaten by something apparently so simple, although technology by and large does tend to baffle me all too easily
