computer ?
« on: 07 August 2013, 19:29:20 »

iv,e been sent some plans for a large extension via email. the original plans were sent to the house owner by the architect in a compressed or zipped format. hence they need enlarging. zooming the email, then printing doesn,t work. can anybody please tell me what I have to do to try & print them off to the scale they were intended, as I need to work out quantities.  :y I,m not really computer literate.

will i not be able to enlarge it then . I obviously can zoom the pages via the computer but apart from the 4 drawings there is I believe 43 pages of a constructional surveyors report.

If the data isn't there, due to lossy compression/shrinking, then you cannot recover that. Hence will not be able to expand.

However, if its a vector format, it may be possible with the right software, hence asking for the file format.
