Enjoyed that. The single seaters at the end were fast. If you had an off you would know about it.!!

Brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed that. Thanks for posting. :y

Really brings home the performance of the single sweaters over ....touring car types, for instance. ::)

Anything purpose designed vs. something that started out as a road car, really.. being on track at the same time as even relatively inexpensive cars like the Radicals is sobering, they go past as if you've just dropped the car into reverse - their corner speed is just immense.

Heck, even a lowly K-series powered Westfield can go past much more powerful road car metal in the corners, it's no surprise to find one up your chuff on a track day.. ;D

Yes that's my point. The old "i'd rather watch touring cars than f1" argument means nothing to me.

Although... If they put them all on the track together, I'd certainly watch that. ;D

Having been on track with bsb superbike spec machines, on my lowly super stock spec fireblade, I'm not sure I'd even want to be on track with a moto gp bike...

...much less an lmp 1 prototype while I'm in a strapped in metal cage on wheels by comparison. I'd love to see first hand the pace it blew by though, provided I knew I was well out f the way of course.

There where a few twitchy moments in that video. :( ::) ;D

Just watch the LeMans coverage - see the closing speed between an LMP-1 car and one of the Ferrari/Porsche/Corvette (etc) cars.. it's truly frightening the pace they catch them up at; I sure as heck wouldn't want to be doing it at night! By the time I'd wondered what the red point in front of me was I'd probably have mounted the back of a Ferrari.. ;D

Yes I suppose that's the essence of endurance racing. Fantastic coverage on Eurosport this year. The Toyota and Audis through the esses where breath taking, even on the tv.

Shame about Allan Simonsons death. That price didnt fit the crime at all. :(
