2.6 gasket does not have half moon shape on gasket :y

Not sure thats correct mate ???

That bridging piece between the two main gaskets came about because of water ingress issues into the spark plug wells. You will often find that the bridge has been made with black sealant if the cam covers haven't been disturbed from the factory (unlikely on 10+ Year old cars....)
