I need a screen for a galaxy s3 mobile. Are they easy to get and fit? Any help would be great.

I got one for my galaxy mini off the 'bay.
Just short of a tenner.

Easy enough to fit, but you do need tiny little screwdrivers.

Youtube usually has tutorials.

The glass (front panel), digitizer (touch bit), and screen (LED) are all bonded together as one unit.
There are plenty of YouTube videos showing how to unglue everything using a heat gun, although I do not know of anybody who has successfully repaired one without it being noticeable afterwards.

A complete (LCD, digitizer, and front panel) is around £80 - £85, and you can expect to pay approx £40 to have it fitted if you don't want to disassemble the handset yourself.

So...total cost circa £120, and you just sold a S3 for....... ::)

£130 including the postage for a SIM free model in Marble White.
That included the box, paperwork, unused charger, unused headphones, and an unused genuine Sammy "Flip Case".

In order to make amends, I'll send him a copy of the service manual for that handset so he's not guessing as to how it comes apart  ;)
On the upside there's one on the bay for £120, with a broken screen. So, all he has to do is sell his and find another mug like you. ;D ;D ;D

Methinks it's you that's pissed at not getting it for £130 all in  ;)  ;D ;D

All joking aside for a minute, I really didn't see it as much more given that it only has 11 months of manufacturer warranty left........and I got a new S3 (the GT-i9305 this time) for £216 inc VAT from O2 on one of their refresh packages.

The differences between the two are that the i9305 has 2GB of RAM (1GB on the i9300), and it also has an LTE (4G) radio.
