I got Ferrodo ones from Halfords a while back (fine for handbrake) IIRC they weren't actually listed as Omega ones, they were listed for Opel Ascona but a quick check proved they were correct.

I've had Ferrodo from Halfords, on the shelf at the time.

Can't imagine it matters much given that they only stop the car rolling away when it's parked. Cheep will do, surely.

Don't know about handbrake turns but if I pull mine on when the car is even slightly moving there's a loud "clunk" and it fells like the rear subframe has been ripped off, yet it applies quite progressively in reverse. Something tells me the shoe geometry is backwards. ;D

Think I'll go with Eurocarparts:

1) its a known brand
2) Delivery is fast, would be here by the weekend. As this weekend is mostly free for me, others are not.
3) I avoid e-bay at all costs, only buy from there if I really have to.

Good stuff  :y
Let's just hope they send you handbrake shoes for an Omega, not an oil filter from a Volvo.... They really seem to struggle with picking parts off the shelf that tally with the order when i've bought bits from them before.
