I know a while back we had a thread on bidding on ebay including snipe software. I cant see it anymore. Reason for asking is i want a playstation 3 but keep getting out bid by pennies.

this one still had the seal on it,And after some alcohol on the duel eye was up and running.

If laser is faulty it can be repaired cheap DIY. If its logic board your stuffed cos its married to the main board. :y

Thats usually from over heating prob.. And they need reballing.. Avoid them you want the one with laser probs only.
And when you collect get them to show you the boot up screen..
Then get it home fully strip it get it all cleaned out.New thermal paste and one of these for good measure. :y

Yep avoid.There is bodge ways of repairing ie: heat gun..Oven but none last long and are not the proper way.
