No not the old bangers or P/X's sold down at the local car auctions, but the mega expensive classics sold at the likes of Bonhams and Christies.     So here from Bloomberg are 20 of the most expensive auction cars ever....

Unbelievable what people will pay for a car especially in the states at auction . I watch that Chasing Classic Car's and the prices some of those cars go for is staggering  The customer buys a car and tells the garage to totally rebuild it including the engine , then they get a letter of authentication form the car manufacturer to say its rebuilt to factory spec .

Last night a Ferrari went for £800k . The Pick nick case alone was estimated at £30k
