Oil in plug wells? or has been in the past?

im starting to think that myself as some of the symptoms to seem to point that way although the car runs fine lower revs and has had new cover gaskets etc.
. Im going to pull the top off (yet again!) and give it another go over.

Im a bit over it!

Sorted!  2 %&** damp plug leads  #3 and of course #6

Solved!  have sent the car to auction and selling the bloody thing!

Just seal the scuttle to scuttle drain and the holes around the wiper spindle.
