Pug 206 2.0L.... Amp draw when off
« on: 13 October 2013, 14:01:37 »

Hi guys..... again  :y

Ok replaced the mrs' battery today as she got to it after leaving it overnight and it had 9.5v  :o :o :o

Anyway before fitting the new battery I did a test with the multimeter to see if amps were being drawn. it ranged from between 0.7 and 3 whole amps but kept jumping around :o now I know that's a lot and will kill the batt. instantly.

she got a immobiliser message come up. is the immobiliser something that can be remotely turned off as I think this has something to do with it :)

It probably went in to fault because of the undervolt as you used the old battery for the test.
