Ross Brawn
« on: 29 October 2013, 14:00:57 »

Now that he is to leave Mercedes at the end of this season where will he go ???

My guess is McLaren replacing Whitmarsh who can then take the arsewipe Michaels with him to Honda :y :y

He could of course join Todt at the FIA, both ex Ferrari so wouldl be well suited to the Ferrari Iternational Autosport  ::)

Founder of Brawn Gp in Brackley that won an F1 championship with Jensen Button.

Now known as Mercedes Gp, running Lewis Hamilton and Rossdburg.

I wonder why Mercedes continue to supply Mclaren tbh.

McLaren only have Merc engines for another year, think Brawn at Merc was big reason for Hamilton joining the team.

Back to Ferrari maybe? Or join McLaren shake them up? Options are limited for him  :-\

If I had to guess I would guess he will retire from F1.Its hard to see how he can do as well in future as he has in the past.
McClaren could be a possibility though if he stays. Cant see him going back to Ferrari. I had the impression he left there because he wasn't a completely dishonest individual. :-\
He has been pushed out of his job, which seems a shame, but its always tough at the top.The new brooms installed at Mercedes - Lauda and those who have joined since - have been undermining him since they arrived. In fact I think that's probably why they were put there by Mercedes in the first place.

I remember a quote from Ferrari on Brawns leaving, accusing him of " arrogance " !

;D

So I can't see him going back there somehow. Iirc his only real option at the time was lo start his own team. Which he's now leaving. :(

Could anybody see him going to Williams and trying to revive them?

It would be unlikely to work imo. Patrick Head already does that job I think, and also owns a percentage of the team.  :-\  Frank Williams daughter is also in charge of a fair bit of the organising as well. They also don't have the budget to run at the front now,as (AFAIK) Frank wont sell a big stake in his team to a manufacturer.

Nice though reviving Williams and I reckon he could do it, but as stated too many complications including budget :(

Cant see why he would want to unless they suddenly had a huge budget to propel them to the front of the pack.Hes spent 20 years at top teams. I cant see him wanting to start again at the back of the grid any more than Adrian Newey would.
You never know though. Time will tell. :y
