Thames barrier to be raised, Edinburgh taking a battering now according to sky news.

Batten down the hatches. :(

If it's howling a gale and pouring with rain come Saturday morning, taking off at Heathrow is going to be [more] interesting [than normal] ;D

No flying at my favourite highland haunt today. Bit of a shame you can't see the windsock. I suppose you might catch it going past when it detaches itself from its' pole. ;D

It's just started snowing here in Aberdeen as well as blowing a wee bit. Just a normal day really!   8)
I think the wind is gonna be at it's worst down in the central belt of Scotland, today.
Hope it cleasr up tomorrow as I've to go pick up my eldest from Uni, and take her home for Xmas (FFS its only just turn December).
Route:-  Aberdeen, Dundee, Perth, Inverness & then home.  :-[

I am collecting rubbish bins as they blow past down the road. :y Also got my neighbours three 5 foot high potted conifers in the garage...flippin' heavy but they still blew away.
All makes life interesting :y

Wind and rain is bad in stoke. 60 mph winds here. Manchester just as bad. The whole country sounds like it's taking a battering.

The mig is like a rocking chair out there.

Left at 8pm - problem free journey - just over 3 hours for 210 miles. Heavy rain and a bit windy in places but have seen much much worse
