Missus has just wrapped the last pressie, cards all posted, deccies up and, as we're going to friends' for Christmas dinner......that's it.
I may have a bit of my usual festive sport next weekend by going to town.....for a coffee. Watch them all scrambling about looking for last minute shopping while I sit and smile. Yes.....

Yep, all done here as well just got a set of nights to do starting tomorrow, then 8 days off !!

Planning carefully that we try to visit others only this year - no dogs or kids coming to ours for Christmas dinner - havoc creation, noise etc; we will spend some quality time at their various houses and then leave them at a sensible hour - get home and have a quiet drink.

Aim to cut down on the booze generally.

Let us see if this strategy proves successful!!
