I read somewhere the second most popular given name in Britain is Muhammed, it's a fact within two generations Germany will be a muslim dominated culture purely due to the fact of family sizes and the fact that muslim families tend to have more kids, i'm not saying sharia law will come into play but me thinks there will certainly be changes, just remember not every Muslim is a terrorist but I can safely say that just about every active terrorist is an Islamist.

No nutters well ever destroy our British way of life.  Not even the Spanish or French, and Hitler with a military force of millions could achieve that.

There is a major difference, most people of Britain united against them as an obvious military threat. In this case our culture etc is being eroded not simply by "nutters" and mass immigration, but very much from within by our politically correct politicians and jobsworth civil servants.

Britain has always changed, just remember that the Angles and the Saxons were from continental Europe, the Vikings occupied a very large part of Britain, and at one stage Norman French was the official language. These changes were mostly imposed by military means.

Anyone who thinks that the face and culture of Britain has not changed in the last 10 or so years and is not changing now, really is wearing rose tinted glasses while walking in cuckooland.

I am amused by the French stance. France is a staunch supporter of the EU that is so frequently blamed by our politicians with "our hands are tied by EU legislation" excuses, and yet it is France that has banned religious symbols in schools and taken a much harder line on various issues than the UK would ever have to balls to do. Is this why the migrants travel through France to get here I wonder ?

The whole of London is like a foreign country now

It always has been since the foreigner Romans started the place, and repeated waves of foreign merchants and tradespeople occupied the Eastern sectors of London.  The Dutch settlers there; good, honest traders; were even intatially blamed for starting the Great Fire of London in 1666. My mothers side of the family were actually French Jewish merchants who came across in the 19th century, adding to the very large Jewish population that existed then and still does!

Do I ever hear any members mentioning that?  No, of course not as they and most other foreigners get on in London and work hard in business and commerce generally.

And yes I do know what it is like in London now as I had the privilege of dealing with a multi-race and cultural population throughout the Old Kent Road and New Cross.  I had many of my staff from across the Globe, and the only problems I really had were with WHITE BRITISH!  Funny that!

Of course it has and always will change as is the rest of the World!  Do you think anything stays the same, least of all the populations of most nations?

The Islamic religion is also very different from the Christian religion, where with Muslims it is a complete way of life. You either are one or a Kafir which means means non-believer. With this way of life anybody not conforming to the strict religious standards will come under pressure from their community, I have personally seen it happen.

Jihad is a war against the Kafirs. The jihadists in Kenya let all of the Muslims leave the shopping mall before they started slaughtering the Kafirs.

With all of the ethnic cleansing of Christians in the Middle East since 1945 which is highlighted in a UN report I think there are real issues between Christians and Muslims that can be swept under the table and ignored, but at some point like 9/11, 7/7, Boston etc. and after numerous other plots including liquid explosives in drink bottles that there are going to be more major problems in the future. We are seeing many of these in North Africa at the moment which is why French troops are there trying to keep the peace and there have been many bomb outrages against Christians in Nigeria and more recently in Egypt.

Most religions are much more tolerant to non-believers including Christianity and the mass migration of people of these other religions to the UK has not lead to a 7/7, attacks on Glasgow airport or other conspiracies or patrols to try and impose their own beliefs on the population at large. Tolerance is a two way street and has been reciprocated as far as I'm aware by all other religions and ethnic minorities that have come to live in the UK.

For those that say Muslims are like all other ethnic minorities then I think 7/7, other thwarted attacks, Muslim patrols etc shows this is not true.

Maybe the thread should be retitled 'Future of London'. The East End is like downtown Kabul.

Muslim refers to the religion and related culture, while Islamist refers to the modern ideology that is a mix of Islam, politics, social conservatism and anger.

So Muslims can include the most liberal, hip, streetwise fashionistas of Kuala Lumpur or Sarajevo, while Islamists tend to be angry beardies with AK-47s objecting to everyone that doesn't fit their narrow restrictive view of the world.

I worked in London for 10 years in the restaurant trade which was full of Muslims (restaurant with 40 staff 3 Brits!!) and  i can safely say there was certainly a pair of fanatics within that group but also many that were nice , what always got me though is they always talked about how you must respect them when they don't give any respect to you. Religous wars are as old as religion itself and personally I think this one is in it's infancy( although you may not call it a war but more of an uprising) and this will creep through societies as more and more  get educated in the west and end up in high positions in government e.t.c and manage to take more and more control, this is not a racist comment but just my thoughts.

Islamists or radical muslims are never going to become part of or contribute to our society like previous immigrants. They want to change us into a muslim state with sharia law and if any liberal loving tree huggers think differently then they can start wearing a burka now.

Wake up and smell the coffee , no more tolerance in OUR Country of these primitives from the middle ages kick them out now .

Why wait until we suffer atrocities in out shopping centres etc, just look at the rest of the world and  sometimes we support them
