Got some promotion leaflets to send out, is there a cheaper way of doing it than sticking a 50/60p stamp on each envelope?

Only a small amount of 100-200 first batch.

dunno whether they'd open one for that sort of quantity, however.

You might find someone local who has an account who will post em for you - I used to do that for a bloke in a neighbouring unit.
I got a 20% discount (1000+large letters a week), I gave him 10% + it counted towards my total for the year when i was negotiating a bigger discount. 


Alternatively - if you buy stamps in bulk, you'll save a couple of pence.

Depends what the leaflets are for though...

If for your own benefit, ie a business venture, then no harm in promoting yourself face to face

If on the other hand they're politely (or otherwise) suggesting people return from whence they came, then perhaps better that the postie does it

My postie shoves all sort of rubbish leaflets, not in envelopes, through my door.
So i would have thought an enquiry at the local sorting office on how much they charge to deliver leaflets my be in order......tho if they have to goto specific addresses that might be a problem
