Petrol cab problem
« on: 02 June 2015, 22:54:36 »

Ok guys the miggy was delivered today (very happy chappy) and I asked the guy if there were any issues I needed to know of, he mentioned the rev counter needle flicking up to 7k and staying there but it started working again so fingers crossed it was just a glitch, then he said when you lock the car the lock in the petrol cab won't engage, is this a new petrol cap and mechanisum or is there a fix for this?

Your help is greatfully received :y

Hi do you mean ..when locking the car the petrol flap does not lock,,if so by looking in the boot ..right hand side you can easily get at the locking mechanism as it is held in by two screws..take them out and remove the locking unit  and test it  :y
