Hi does anybody know if it is possible to find out when a email was sent not when i received it.

Its spoofable, but is in the header, if your email client allows you to view the header

Its a notice from bt. When i called them about it they said it was sent on the 12/1/2014. I received it today. which is the only date time i can see.

Thats the email service, what client (ie, what program do you open on your PC to read email)?

Probably web based TB....

If it is, open the email, then click on more (top right), one of the options is 'view full header'  :y
