rear light
« on: 12 March 2014, 20:57:32 »

I keep getting tail light fail come up every now and then . I have replaced bulb but problem seems to come back and when the unit is moved slightly the bulb lights up. There doesn't seem to be any loose connections so could it be a problem with the actual circuit board all the bulb plug into?

Could be related to bulb manufacturer - Omegas seem a bit finicky as to makes of bulb fitted - genuine GM or Ring bulbs seem ok - Halfords (for example) bulbs can cause issues ;)

Not sure if Hellfrauds have changed bulb supplier, but I've found they are much better than they used to be a few years back. Generally, for convenience, that's all I use now for general purpose bulbs.
