MotoGP (Spoiler?)
« on: 20 March 2014, 18:08:45 »

After the completion a few minutes a go of FP1 this is certainly going to be an 'interesting' season! It looks like the open bikes of the satellite teams maybe faster than the factory ones, Ooops, not what was intended me thinks. :o :o :o :o But it certainly looks like rider skill and speed is going to matter as much or more than just the outright performance of each manufacturers bike, where they are so close.  :y :y :y :y

From 2016 they will all have to run the same open ECU, but I suspect that all the teams may run this from 2015, if the relaxed fuel consumption (24 rather than 21 litres), more engines per season with no season long design freeze for the open bikes, if this gives them an advantage.
