Windscreen surround trim
« on: 28 April 2014, 19:18:20 »

Hello, does anyone know the best way to refit the windscreen surround trim (single one piece)  Mine had to come out recently, and I am struggling to get it back in its channel.

Thanks

what I do when fitting a new screen to an omega is spray with watered down washing-up liquid and press back into plastic back trim with your thumbs only! don't use a rubber hammer to "tap it in" push til it clicks in, sorted  :y

If you lube it up properly and push til it clicks it will sit properly. Just push at trim not on glass or you will split screen
