My renewal has also come back cheaper this year!  :y

I paid £200 fully comp for my Merc C250 that was my daily drive last year and then another £26 to change to the Omega in January. The renewal is £190!  :y

Nice to see renewal prices actually coming down for once, don't know if this is because of the competitive market or the likes of Martins money show exposing ways of getting your premiums discounted.

Nope it works the other way for us  >:( >:( >:( >:(

We are more likely to have an accident because of the job we do  ??? ??? ??? ??? and we now have to disclose to OUR insurers any bumps we have as a result of the job we do, i.e. if we TPAC (block & surround) a car that fails to stop and have to ram persuade it to stop, we have to disclose it!!!

Really?.......... :o That's hardly fair, do they think that when off duty you are going to follow that suspicious car.......... :-\ :-\ actually I bet there may be a situation that you might.......... ;)

I do a very different Job to you, with many similarities, and am never really off duty, if I came across something it would have to be reported / dealt with............... :-X :-X

 >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Really spat my dummy out with Admiral!!! SWAMBOs new car 7 day cover with Ford runs out at midnight so I rang Admiral up to change it from her old Focus to the new Fiesta. Now bearing in mind the Focus's 12 month policy was £525 at renewal, I ran through the details of the Fiesta and nearly fell over when they wanted to fleece me for another £161  :o :o :o So in total £686.GRRRRR When I asked the guy why he replied "Well its a lot newer & worth more than the Focus" So when I replied "So why is a 12 month quote on your website coming in at £408????" He was speechless  ;D ;D ;D He then went away (to speak to his manager) but came back & would not budge on price. So I voted with my feet cancelled the policy & got a cheaper quote elsewhere, that with the refund I got from em meant I only payed £38 extra instead of the £161 them thieving $£$%$^&^ wanted  :y
