electric windows
« on: 13 May 2014, 14:49:05 »

Hi all..just purchsed another omega and .i  have removed my window switch on my omega2.2 saloon on my drivers door and got a bit heavy handed with it and it sort of came apart..lol...It has gone back together and feels ok on the buttons but now i have no electric windows and the other switches on the other doors do not work either..to be honest not sure if they worked in the first place....my question is if the main drivers unit is broken will that stop the other switches working.......i believe that fuse number one is for the windows and have checked that and thats ok....is there a relay to check and if so where is it...or what else can it be....thanks   :y

It was doing my ed in...but after 2 days i found the problem....the printed circuit in the main window switch had a hair line crack in it....Thus explains power coming through wiring harness into the pins in the switch,,then no workey from there......So new switch ordered and sorted  :y :y
