hi chaps. can any one tell me if the new type astra or insignia washer jets that spay windsreen with a mist instead of a jet of water will fit an omega.  ::)

They do on a facelift where they're in the scuttle.  :y

They don't adjust enough to cover the top of the screen, and fitting them is fiddly.

Personally, I wouldn't bother again.

Fitted to mine... no mot issues :y

When stationary they are a bit low, but on the move they work just fine :y

They use less screen wash though, and cover the screen much better, with less dry wiping. :o

I found with mine, they wouldn't quite clear the edge of the scuttle without some modification.

hi chaps. i now have some genuine vx ones on way, weather genuine are any diffrent i have no idea but they were cheap enough. will report back at the weekend after they are fitted and  give you my verdict. thanks guys for all the advice. very helpfull as allways. :y
