Well it's in the car and all wired in except the audio feed to the HU. Some thing has been in there before as most of the wires to the 18 block connector have been chopped with terminals put on the end. Even got the HU to mute properly and the wife says no echoing. I open up the Nokia mic and mounted it in the courtesy light, nice and tidy. I will make a lead to patch to the audio input and job done. Easy peasy really, it was just dodging the rain showers that was a pain in the A###!

Thanks to the guy who opened the thread and gave me the incentive to do it!!!

Sometimes one just needs a push!!

Patch lead now done and audio through speakers. :y

If you are after cheap hands free get an earlier Nokia blue tooth system off EBay for less than a tenner delivered and away you go.

So easy.

Happy days.

Would make a good 'how to' guide if you've still got the details handy?  :) (Especially if any pictures available  :y)

Hmmm, no pictures (as I never do take them) but still have the wiring colours etc. I will see about writing up a "how to" as it really is so easy (if you know the wiring colours) and a very neat solution. All I have on show is the tiny remote and that sits between the steering column and the centre console so it not that obvious until you look for it.

If I put my intended DAB Motion in the car the glovebox will have to come back out and I will try to remember to take some pictures of the Bluetooth install then.
