I've only ever used ''Rack o' th'eye'' to line a friction plate up  ;D ;D

It needs care, thats all......hence why there are such kits for the modern day mechanic  ;D ;D ;D :y

Nice looking set there, I used to use where available an input shaft from an old gearbox :y

Failing that is was the old Halfords lining up kit, seems such a long time ago now :(
