2.2 engine question
« on: 18 June 2014, 16:25:21 »

This relates to a 2.2 petrol that has a starting issue, I asked the seller for more detail and got this response, any ideas? alledgedly has new crank and cam sensors ( origin unknown)  ::)

The engine starts 99% of the time, if not it will start after 30 seconds or so. Usually once started it will cut out if you try to move it within the first 60-90 seconds after starting the engine. So we tended to let it sit for a while before pulling off. We've been running it like this for a couple of months, thats why we believe the issue is with the choke.

Not from personal experience, but reading here if the new cam / crank is not GM your likely to get unexpected results.
