...I'm guessing obviously. No idea in reality. But that's who I'd bet in if I had to.

The press claim it is from Bank Robbery and extortion but they are remarkable well equipped and trained not be state funded

While there have Hummers as well, it was noted they have a lot if Russian armour. Hence the Syrian thinking, along with the more obvious point that that's where they came from, of course.

bang on.. but they also self finance their group.. they robbed a central bank in Musul/mosul.. and they rob everywhere..


they also use russian weapons because those weapons are sold freely in that zone.. cheap as chips
