Maybe killing another Omega
« on: 06 July 2014, 12:27:35 »

Been offered a very cheap 53reg  2.2 GLS manual that is surplus to requirements so will likely get it and pull it to pieces, but might stick it on here if it seems decent when I actually see it, are the manuals any more desirable that auto's?

Possibly not economical to buy a GLS to break, as you can't service the upgrade market. Depends how chea it is I guess.

Might have some mileage as a base for build to order, or with a fresh Mot/cambelt/usual Omega bits sorted... make for dependable family transport, especially if tidy :y

These are only usually scrapped or sold cheap if the fuel pump is suspect
