lerching on stopping
« on: 14 August 2014, 07:41:15 »

Hi I have a 2.5 omega auto saloon.

just before I stop the car revs and seems to lurch forward, it does this on normal braking.

I have changed the throttle control valve and also the EGR but it still happens.

Can anyone help please.

Do you mean the Idle Control Valve...?

Have you got availability to use a code reader as it may help diagnose if its an electrical or mechanical fault...
