Egnition electric in engine bay
« on: 14 August 2014, 21:09:53 »

Would there be a feed for any electric in the engine bay?
Yes I know there is.
But I do. Lol. For a feed which comes on with the egnition over the key.

I want to connect DRL but the switch control needs to have one feed from the egnition to allow to come on with the egnition when starting the engine.
Sounds daft but that's what the installation Manuel says.
Not the expensive stone but should switch off when lights going on.
At least the is a feed to the lights to.

I have all connected apart this egnition feed  +.

You could take a live feed from the rear of the alternator as that only goes 'live' when the ignition is switched on :)

There is a number of switched lives including one to the ECU, avoid the alternator as that connection does a bit more than just go live (as its fed via a lamp)  :y
