Eeyore's trip to Edinburgh and back...
« on: 02 January 2015, 21:39:12 »

Just got back from Edinburgh and got to say eeyore never missed a beat!

Topped up pas fluid and coolant before I went. Tyre pressures real low at 24 so topped them up.

He didn't use any coolant and didn't piss out any pas fluid although did get the occasional whiff of pas fluid.

Jammed some injector cleaner in to a full tank of fuel. Chose the Carlube stuff this time.

Oh and got him clean as the amount of salty shit he was covered in was unbelievable.

Anyway really pleased with him and thought I'd share  :y

I'm delighted for you, Steve. You took your car to Scotland, and back, and it didn't break. Not even a little bit. This is a truly momentous occasion for an omega owner. I'd write to your MP if I were you.  ;D

The flip side, is possibly that the Omega is so comfortable/supportive, without being harsh, that its a good candidate for those with back problems...

Oooo, Webby, assuming you posted this as soon as you got it, did you see a silver MFL blasting past on the M1 before the roadworks?

There were a few Omegas on the motorway yesterday

Funny you say that jaime, I commented to the wife that in the whole trip, there and back, not a single omega was seen!  :o

800miles from the Spanish border and home in the Omega isn't a problem for me. Capris are similarly comfortable.
A 120mile round trip to Heathrow in mum's Focus leaves me suffering for the rest of the day.
