Was at the gliding club today and got a sneaky look in one of the hangars where "something special" had been kipping for the night before displaying at the Red Bull race at Ascot today.

It is not just men who can be overwhelmed by one Merlin, let alone 8.  It is better than a lot of organisms in one. The Vulcan engines do that as well.  Pure power and the history that goes with it can be soooooooo sexy! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) :y :y :y :y :y :y

I remember in my very early life hearing the sound of Merlin engines, with my father commenting when a Spitfire flew over :-* :-* :-*

Ah yes I meant the merlin or as you say merlins I agree can be better than sex.   :-*:o ;D

Went to Sywell Airshow yesterday..... where due to the wind (over 35 knots???) they couldnt even get out of the hanger  :'( :'( :'(

Red arrows were great tho  :y
