Hi all,

Any TD experts out there who who could help me out with a glow plug change on the 2.TD? I can come to you and Beer tokens or abit of change for anyone who can help I've got the plugs.

I've only done them on a Renault but assuming access is ok then you run the engine (helps to get the plugs out) and i used a breaker bar with a 6 sided socket to remove them. real easy mate

What could possibly go wrong!!!!!!!!!!   

Apparently the plugs in mine are dead easy to shear off

Don't use a breaker bar, they will shear

TD ones quite easy. From memory - unplug loom from glow plug relay, intake off, remove cable tray, undo electrical connections, remove plugs. Refit reverse.

When I did it to my TD, I did it one lunchtime, less than 55mins.

I disagree  with a breaker bar you can put on a nice even torque in one motion. With a ratchet you would be fighting with it if they were done up tight. Tat goes for undoing most things IMO

But six sided socket is best

Lol was only playing anyway ... He knows his onions more than me. I deffo had no problem though using said bar
