replacing a kerb lamp
« on: 23 August 2014, 00:29:53 »

My front passenger door kerb lamp failed - replace the bulb I thought - but it turned out to be glued into the felt of the door liner and when I took it out with some difficulty one of the metal connectors/bulb holders was missing so I need a new lamp I think. Where from I wonder? nearest scrap merchant? or commercial parts supplier but they don't list it in any obvious way. Suggestions welcome. then refit it - should be simple so long as the little plastic spring clips work as apparently intended, or is glue the usual fixative?
hope to learn lots.

There is a knack to unclipping them... gluing suggests that someone has busted it previously :-\

Place a wanted post in the test zone, along with a polite request for an admin to move it to the parts section :y
