I have one. 

It's a Prins and at first I assumed it was buggered, so not being that knowledgeable about LPG matters I had a quick look on ebay for a new one, but came across this instead. 

So it seems that I can rebuild mine with new seals etc, but £55 is a lot of cash for a few o rings and bits.    I guess I could strip it down and hope that I can get the right size o rings in the local hardware shop. 

Any thoughts chaps?

Ha ha, I am very fick!!     

I was thinking about the water leaks, and totally forgot about the gas side of it!!!!      Doh!!!!!!! 

So, new vapouriser? Get Prins dealer to rebuild mine? Get a GasSafe plumber in?      

oppss sake how dumb!!!!     

So forget the local hardware shop, I've found the rebuild kit at a better price!

So would you rebuilt yours with the appropriate kit Chris or take it to an installer?

I'd probably replace the whole thing for new. Then take the old one apart and look at a refurb. If successful, keep as spare or sell on. If not, bin it.

Suspect though, that I'd regret doing that and wish I'd just gone for the refurb. They're not complex. But having never been inside one....

...Prins are especially mean about joe bloggs working on their kit though. I'd expect some aspect of it designed to trip you up. Not least acquiring parts for diy'ers/non dealers.

Not that I've seen yet, but I'll have a scan of the LPG forums later. 

I wonder if those coolant elbows can be removed in situ without dismantling the whole thing.    Might have a look at that 'cos if so then it's back to the hardware shop for some o rings.

Well I've had another look and it appears as though the two coolant elbows are held in place with a bolted plate.  So in theory, undo bolt, remove plate and elbows should pull out.  New o rings and/or a smear of goo and hopefully jobs a goodun!   

I've had a look at prices for a new vapouriser as a proper job will be required at some point and Prins vapourisers are seriously expensive compared to other makes!

That's how they are retained on the KME vapourisers it allows the plumbing to be run more conveniently for any given installation...
