Formula E racing (electric single seaters)
« on: 13 September 2014, 14:12:02 »

Picked this up on TV today. First round in China this weekend.

Each driver has two cars. Pits and changes for second car as batteries don't last a full race.

Have mixed feelings about the concept. On the one hand they are fast and using modern technology but on the other no oil, noise and smells

They are certainly fast. Anyone seen them in action?

I am just watching it too, had recorded it from this morning. I can't really say much, not that quick, 110 mph max on this circuit. I'll wait and see how it goes on next race venue.
