london theatre tickets
« on: 23 September 2014, 21:57:55 »

Booked a surprise week in London for me and her from 19th to 25th October.  Tried booking a theatre or two but no luck thus far.  Anyone any experience of any places/sites to obtain legit ones?

we normally go through ticket master.  Some available on there for your dates:

http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/browse/all-arts-theatre-and-comedy-catid-10002/arts-theatre-and-comedy-rid-10002?rdc_emonth=10&tm_link=tm_arts_browse_enterloc&rdc_syear=2014&teVal=&rdc_sday=19&rdc_smonth=10&rdc_eyear=2014&rdc_eday=25&root=10002&category=10002&type=range

I can recommend Jersey Boys, Lion King and Wicked.  All very good.  If you like Opera I can also highly recommend Le Marriage de Figaro.  Beaumarchais and Mozart are both personal favourites of mine :y

These people are ok, and if there's a problem you can call and talk to a real person !

Theatre tickets in London is a real maze. It all boils down to whether you want the best seats and how much you are prepared to pay.

Last time we went, fairly recently, we just rolled up at a ticket office inside Leicester Square tube station and asked what they had for that night. All worked out ok, went to see The Commitments with Circle seats. But if you're travelling, you wouldn't want to do that. I've never had any problem with bogus tickets, what you do need to watch for is paying a lot of cash for crap seats.
