I passed my test in 1973 but says <1984.
Interesting that I can provisionally jump on a 1000cc bike.

I can drive Anything!........... But provisional on a tracked vehicle or road roller

And I passed my main test on the day before I had remembered, 2nd Dec 1974 my bike test was 9th Oct 1974...........

Just found out that you could check with Swansea waht details of your licence they hold for you ie categories & points.

But why is my licence valid from 19th Jan 81 when I past my car test in Aug 79? 

Did you move house or something like that or any other reason a license was sent out to you in 81?

It says my license is valid from March 2014.....which is when i was required to apply for another 10 year one 

I can drive a tractor (which is scary really considering the size of some tractors these days)

Note that they will verify your identity by checking your National Insurance Number with the Dept for Work and Pensions and Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.
