Spoke briefly to Jeremy a short while ago and reserved my kit!!!

Decided to go with the 4 hole 80L cylinder tank in boot as I want the range! By my reckoning it should get me close to 300 miles on normal round town use and nearer 400 on a run. Not sure about towing... Probably closer to 220 but you can't win them all!!

Oh, and OOF members are getting a discount!  :y :y :y :y

At the price he's quoted I'll be saving money well within the year, even with allowing for replacing some items like HT leads for new when I do the conversion!!

Who was it who collected their kit? If you can own up and PM me the price it'd be great because Jeremy has said I'll get the same deal!! (The price he's given me at the moment includes delivery!)

I've got to give him a call during the week to finalise all the details but I should be on gas by the end of August!! I'm hoping to get it done quicker but I'm not sure if I'll get a chance!

Right, has anyone got a spare inlet manifold to donate to the V6 converts so we can keep the cars on the road?? If not I guess I'll be buying one, so if anyone has one for sale let me know!!!  :y :y :y :y

No chance of a LPG Kit Party, yet then?

Just a Thought, I'ld be up for it.

i had to install a 100 litre tank to get that sort of range.

Must be that I'm a bit lighter on the pedals then!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Not sure how long that'll last but hey ho!! My normal "around town" driving is rarely fewer than 20 miles each way because I live in the sticks!!!

Although I've not done a full installation, and never done a Miggy, I think that it's probably a bit too involved for doing at a party!  :-? :-?

I used to do LPG installs back just before the injecttion kits became main stream. and to be fair, a system could be done in a day, with say 4 people on each car... easy

I would be up for helping out any one with a install. though my know how on the injector mounting is some what lacking

Right, managed to speak to Jeremy again today. As has already been mentioned the Vaporisers are in! Luckily I managed to get through before he shipped Kevin's so I've asked him to stick a set of nozzles in with it for me for Kevin to fit to my spare manifold, which should be on the way in the next couple of days! (Thanks Chris) :y :y :y

During the conversation I managed to find out the the single hole tanks, although slightly cheaper and capable of supplying cars up to about 215bhp, are less reliable. I did think this was the case and decided the 4 hole is the way to go, especially as I tow and am planning some pretty long and hilly journeys in the next few years! ::)

We also discussed filler mounting and I was saying about not wanting to cut the rear quarter panel for fear of damage. Jeremy said that one of his fitters will cut the hole for me, using a special punch, and fit the filler into the gap created when I'm there collecting the kit. What a result... I'll end up with the filler in line with the petrol flap like Entwood's!

Anyway, complete kit will be sat on the shelf for me on July 18th and they'll do one of the bits I was least looking forwards to!!! :y :y :y

All I hope now is that we get some decent weather in July/August so I can get it all in quite quickly!! I think I'll probably try to get some photo's taken whilst I'm going and see if I can either create or add to a How To!

Watch this space....

I was also worried about cutting the hole, but Mr Sassanach has kindly let me his Qmax cutter punch - apparantly it goes through it like butter with no damage at all :y

Exactly what Jeremy was telling me... Also, apparently, it leaves an edge on the hole that is smooth enough to run your finger around!! Anyway, I don't have to worry about that bit now!  :y :y :y :y It'll make the filler pipe run so much easier too!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D
