Some of my favourites were Finger Mouse, The Double Deckers, Camberwick Green, Captain Caveman, The Clangers, Bagpuss, The Wombles, Rhubarb and Custard, Hector's House, Play School, Pipkins, Rentaghost and Mr Benn.

My children loved some of them! :o :o :o :o

Another post to make me feel old! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)

I watched these as a kid. Does that mean I'm young enough to be your son, Lizzie?....... ::) ::) ::) :D :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Well Opti my eldest son is 40 years old now! :o :o ;D ;D ;D ;)

You must have been a child bride then Lizzie ::) :-*
My eldest is 36 and the youngest 22, with a couple in between :y
So I've had my fill of kids TV, I guess the longest running must have been Biddy Baxter and sticky back plastic. We used washing up bottles as water pistols mine made space ships and all sorts things, the uses for metal coat hangers ;D Blue Peter has been there for generations. :y

Saturday mornings at the ABC Minors, three pence in the stalls a tanner for the balcony.

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

With my two local grandchildren, one being 4 in a few days time, I still get my fill of children's tv!  I have watched them all (I think) :o :o ;D ;D ;D :y

A actually quite like some of them as they are nowadays great for educating the young viewer, like Mister Maker and Justin's House /Mr. Tumble plus others :y :y :y :y

How kids tv has changed with soooooo many of their own channels :D :D :D :y :y
