Infuriating
« on: 14 October 2014, 12:00:03 »

An envelope has just arrived inside a plastic bag with apologies from royal theft mail. If anything of value is missing, I need to fill in a form. No postmark, just a biro scribble over the stamp (cant have  me trying to use it again) and a printed label.
I saw the 'postman' earlier. He was sqinting at street names and looking totally confused. Now someone will think I'm an ignorant bastard for not saying thanks for the letter/card/money/ dogshit or whatever.

Our postie delivered a large clear bag today...

It contain five slightly damp paperback books, two paperback book shaped sponges, and the soggy remnants of what used to be an Amazon box. He did at least have the decency to blush when he delivered it, although Mother was less than impressed ::)

Net result Amazon have refunded the order and are sending two books to replace the sodden ones :y
