Trouble is I know I should be sensible here.. I actually ordered the X-trail back in July (it still hasn't arrived yet, original delivery date was mid September!) and it's more economical, cheaper to own over three years by about £3k once you include tax, fuel, insurance and servicing..

..but the big kid in me wants the giant humungous truck ;D

 ;D ;D ;D

Is it not enough that us dudes sacrifice our freedom for women and / or children. If we cant have the occasional thing we want whats the point!!!!  ;D

Out of interest would you go for used or brand new?

What sort of cost we talking about if you dont mind me asking. i'd love one but im sure i cant afford one  :-[

Yeah........Wottleshecostya, Mr Aaron?......... ;)

Should I be in the market for a new 'Datsun' I would go the GTR or 240Z route. :y

....actually the 370Z has a certain 'old school' appeal. :-*

Opti - I love the 370Z, too.. although in an ideal world a fully restored 240Z with LS series V8 would be ideal ;)

Brand new (in both cases), personal contract purchase.. they're both about £30k, although on PCP you're only financing about 50% of that, so about £360/mo..

Utterly ridiculous, but .. ;D

Being an old-fashioned straight six, the 370Z is the spiritual successor to the likes of the Austin Healey and Triumph TR5/6

I'll wager it's far more reliable than anything ancient and British though. :y

Well, at least you're not walking into a Datsun dealer and plonking £30,000 in cash on the counter. :y

240/260/270Z were the straight sixes, Opti, everything after that (Z31 300ZX, Z32 300ZX, 350Z and 370Z) are V6 ;)
