windscreen
« on: 16 October 2014, 22:17:24 »

Trying to clear the smear of the windscreen tried lots of different glass cleaners including doing it with newspaper.
Also tried new bosch blades and cleaning the screen with pure vinegar.  I work right next door to heathrow airport and I believe it the fumes etc from the planes.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try the link above or what I use regularly, Bar Keepers Friend. It doesn't scratch and leaves the screen free of all kinds of muck. Plenty of water to rinse off and then buff dry with a microfibres cloth.  :y

Used to use the detergent we used for exterior cleaning, but has probably been outlawed now ::)

Give this... http://m.screwfix.com/p/zenith-traffic-film-remover-2ltr/42326 or similar a go :y
