That is going some, Mark! It'd take me that to change plugs  ;D

On a serious note.... what would be your rough plan of attack for doing it....?

Anyone fancy doing an engine swop for me, I'm in Guildford/Woking and can drive short distance from there, have complete engine to go in place of knackered one, needs doing before xmas.
if you wont find anyone local,  I can replace engine on your car
Im about 100 miles from you but if you dont want travel I can pick car up and drop off :y

I would recommend that you accept Serek's offer; even if you choose to travel to him it will be well worth the journey......

Ron.

The thing to remember is that the Omega power units are plug n play.

So all the engine wiring loom goes to multiway plugs which you disconnect.

Then disconnect the main power cables.

Drop the prop shaft and associated linkages off the box.

Disconnect fuel and water pipes (from bulk head fast fit connectors and rad).

Remove bag pipes.

Disconnect front pipes and remove.

Disconnect vac pipes and remove main brake servo pipe.

Scuttle off

Disconnect aircon pipes at the quick connect couplings.

unbolt engine mount (one end only)

Check for other odds n sods (version dependent such as air injection etc).

Lift and out it comes.

Can probably do it in about half an hour if you don't want to reuse the shell ;D
