WISHBONES DONE YESTERDAY..

Well, Timbuk and me got the wishbones done on the cdx yesterday morning started at 10.30 finished at 1.30, the first one went in OK, was a paing aligning one of the bolts.....so thanks to Timbuk, down to wheel power this morning for 2 new back tyres and get the geometry done at the same time.

Are the disks on the right way round, I thought the groves were designed to take dust and heat away from the disk, they look as if they take the dust towards the hub.  :question

I asked the same question when fitted ::)...the response was; I used to work as a mechanic on rally cars and worked with one of those brake disc companies on design of discs and this is the best way to fit them :y

Well had two new back tyres put on this morning and the geometry on the car done, the front were out, but could well be to do with the wishbones ::)........total damage £320 :(

Actually I got them from Markjay for free, not geniune Vx ones the aftermarket ones.

Ouch, thats pricey!

Taking mine for Geometry at lunch following new wishbones and a new (genuine at 19 quid, thanks to ebay) steering idler.

Then pack the car and hit the road...

The prices have went up Kwik fit wanted £200 a tyre, cars packed, just waiting on the kids getting ready ::), so as usual we are running behind ;D
