Hi,
My brake light switch needs replacing.
I have found a genuine replacement, however seller states it's only for cars without cruise control. It has two pins/spades where the connector, er, connects. My brake switch also has two pins but my car does have cruise control.
The part number provided by the seller is 9149765, could anyone confirm either way if this would be suitable for my car.
To my mind its just a switch that looks the same as the one on the car so why wouldn't it be compatable? The only thing I can think of is later models were wired up differently with those 4 pin switches that ebays full of.
If that the case then surely this would be backwards compatable, no?
