Facelift saloon towbar connector - where?
« on: 17 March 2015, 16:35:08 »

Hi
I have a 99 gls saloon. It is a facelift.  Looking to fit a towbar. Do I have a connector  for the trailer electrics? If so, where can I find it. Can't see it anywhere.

Thanks.

GM kit is plug and play into the rear lights for trailer lighting, Domestic socket is wired to engine bay via a relay :y

Give FG Barnes in Guildford a call as they have/had a supply of GM towbar wiring bits for peanuts :y

Yes, remove the pastic trim at rear of boot and there is a connector there. You can get a kit as above or just cut connector off and use the wires only if you wish.

You may / will need to change your flasher relay to a 4 pin version (under steering wheel)
